WILLIAM S. LYONS, III
Mr. Lyons is one of the managers for Baton Group,
LLC and oversees the Operations for the organization.
Mr. Lyons has worked with both residential and
commercial Real Estate for ten years.
Mr. Lyons received his B.S. in Business from the
Daniel’s College of Business at the University of
Denver and has held his Colorado Real Estate License
and General Contractor License since 2000.
Mr. Lyons is also co-owner and Manager of Creekside Communities
and related entities specializing in townhome, condominium and patio
home development. He has worked with his partner, Mr. William S.
Lyons, Jr. to build Creekside Communities into one of Colorado's top
builders. His expertise is in land acquisitions, finance, planning, land
development, construction, marketing, sales and administration.
In the past 8 years Mr. Lyons has been involved in managing thousands
of units over numerous projects. A summary of these projects
may be found on the attached project list.
Mr. Lyons is 32 years old and has been married for 9 years. During
that time he and his wife have had four children. Mr. Lyons is active in
his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and is also
highly involved as a Commissioner in the Denver Area Council of the
Boy Scouts of America.
WILLIAM S. LYONS, JR.
Mr. Lyons is one of four managers for Baton Group,
LLC. Mr. Lyons is involved in the business development
and operations for Baton.
Mr. Lyons holds a 28% ownership of Western Capital
Partners, LLC, an entrepreneurial real estate financing
company, which currently has over $100 million
in outstanding loans. Mr. Lyons is responsible for the
“work out” committee at Western Capital and has
significant experience in managing assets to a successful
financial recovery.
Mr. Lyons is a Manager of Creekside Communities and related entities.
His expertise is in land acquisition, development, finance, construction,
and business administration. He has worked with his partner, Mr. William
S. Lyons III to build Creekside Communities into one of Colorado's
top builders.
The Creekside partners and affiliates have developed and sold townhomes,
patio homes, and condominiums in the Denver Metro Area since
1994. The company has been successful with both new construction and
condominium conversion from apartments. Creekside has successfully
marketed and sold 150 to 450 units each year for the past ten years, averaging
$35 to $85 million in gross sales annually.
William has been in real estate development for over 28 years and has
been actively involved in both attached and detached residential development.
Prior to forming Creekside, Mr. Lyons was the Executive Vice President
for Century Realty Management Corp. in the Los Angeles area for eleven
years. During that time Mr. Lyons managed a staff of twenty-five employees
and was directly responsible for overseeing the construction of
over 6,500 residential units, worth over $850 million.
William has been married to his wife, Janice, for 35 years. They have
five children and five grandchildren.
STEVEN C. ROBBINS
Mr. Robbins has over 25 years of diversified business and real estate
experience. He began his business career in 1970 as a mortgage
broker specializing in commercial real estate loans with Ford
Motor Credit, Manufacturers Hanover, Chase Manhattan, and Dime
Savings.
In 1972 he acquired a 300 acre ski resort and dude ranch property,
Beaver Village, in Winter Park, Colorado. Over the next 11 years
he obtained the necessary governmental approvals to develop 1200
units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space. Between 1972
and 1983 he managed the resort and its construction expansion, financed
and developed 200 condominium units, and subsequently
sold the entire project in 1983.
Between 1983 and 1992 Steve was an investor in real estate, various
operating companies, and purchased an international distribution
company. After growing the distribution business 300% in 2
years, he sold it to an international trading company. Following the
sale, Steve spent the next year in the international markets identifying
opportunities and trading partners for the acquiring firm.
In 1992, in addition to his corporate investments, Mr. Robbins
again turned his primary focus to real estate development. Over the
last ten years he has been involved in the successful development of
over 500 residential units.
Steve has 2 adult children and lives in the Cherry Creek area of
Denver, Colorado. He enjoys golf, scuba diving and flying.
DANIEL W. KLEIN
Mr. Klein is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Creekside
Homes, LLC and related entities specializing in townhome, condominium
and patio home development. He has worked with his partners,
Mr. William S. Lyons Jr. and Mr. William S. Lyons III, to
build Creekside Communities into one of Colorado's top for-sale
multi-family builders.
Mr. Klein began his real estate development career in Upstate New
York building single-family homes. He later worked for the largest
shopping mall developer in the Northeastern United States for several
years as an onsite Construction Accountant during mall development.
He was directly involved with the day-to-day accounting
on the construction of the Independence Mall and Silver City Galleria
(both in Massachusetts) as well as the Carousel Mall (Syracuse,
New York). Each of these projects consisted of over 1 million
square feet of retail space, 100,000 square feet of office space and
their collective construction budgets exceed $500M.
From 1994 to 2000 Dan lived in Scottsdale, Arizona where he was
employed as a Controller/ CFO for a commercial General Contractor
and grew the company from $1.5M in annual revenues to over
$20M in annual revenues before relocating to Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Klein joined Creekside Homes LLC in 2001 and has been
working in a CFO capacity overseeing all financial related matters
for over 50 related entities.
Mr. Klein has been married for 21 years and has 3 children, one
attends ASU (Arizona State University) in Tempe, Arizona, one
graduate’s high school in 2008 and the youngest enters high school
in 2008.
